Neil was racing at fulbeck this weekend in lincolnshire . for the first heat neil and his team mate put in a 1-2 finish with neil finishing 2nd . after this things went badly for neil and in the final Neil finished 7th after starting 9th.
This weekend neil was racing at wombwell in barnsley
Neil had a terrible weekend strugling with set ups on saturday . neils mechanic changed everything on the kart to result in being there abouts on the pace. for the first heat neil was leading until he was rudely taken out by another driver and droping neil down to 4th place . neil recoverd to finish 2nd . and for the 2nd heat neil was put into a concrete wall resullting in bent steering column and track rod ends . for the 3rd heat neil did reasonable finishing 10th .. for the final Neil started 10th and got caught out with the first corner antics and droped to last . however he recovered to finish 16th.

With this being Neils only race meeting for this month it was to be a good one
with Neil recieving a phone call 2 weeks prior to the event to ask him to race at the ACE OF CLUBS for the pfi circuit he accepted the invitiation and turned up at whilton mill circuit in daventry on the friday ready to learn the track and do his best. Neil spent friday learning the track and finding over 2 seconds of lap time . on the saturday neil spent the 2 practice sessions trying to fine tune the set up and find even more time . for the timed qualyfying neil put in a decent performance to qualyfy 15th out of 26 karters. for sunday things did not go so well . with neil getting taken out on the first lap this resulted in neil having to fight his way back through the pack to finish 20th. for the second heat neil made more progress to finish 14th and for the prefinal things went badly once again with the conditions changing neil had the wrong set up and fell backwards during the race . for the final it was raining and a full wet set up was needed . however neil had never driven this track or this chasis in the wet before so he took a gamble on the set up . and it payed off . unfortunatly neil was only complete 1 and a half laps . whilst neil was overtaking a competitor their rear bumper got hooked inside neils wheel and riped the tyre valve out which meant a flat tyre and an instant retirement from the ace of clubs when he was running in 11th place.

wombwell club meeting: saturday went extremly well for Neil with Neil been fastest on track for 2 practice sessions. sunday went not as good at first but it all came good in the end with Neil puting his kart 3rd on the grid for the all important final , Neil managed to make his way through to 2nd with 6 laps remaining and he then set his sights on the race leader , going across the finish line for the last lap Neil was virtually pushing the race winner across the line the gap was 0.10 which isnt enough time to blink, in the process of chasing down the leader Neil also posted the fastest lap time in the final.Neil said "im very pleased with today, we didnt win no but had a good battle for the lead and i also posted the fastest lap and took home some very valuable championship points so im very pleased with how everything has gone "

fulbeck club meeting:
saturday practice went extremly well , " we had very good pace and was quick through the key parts of the track" . Sunday didnt go as well as saturday did because of fuel , tyre problems. Neil still managed to get a decent finish in 7th.
wombwell club meeting : race day went good having decent finishes in the heats . for the final Neil was running in 3rd until the last lap 3rd from last corner where Neil was rudely taken out and droped to 5th . after the race the clerk of the course gave the driver who knocked Neil off a 2 place penalty for contact and promoted neil back up 1 place to 4th.

saturday: "practice went good by starting off with running an engine in and progressivly geting to be 0.007 from the fastest time of the day."
sunday: "we went very well for most of the day the only time we didnt have good pace was the second heat where the changes we made went bad . so we changed it all back and went extremly well in the third heat to finish 3rd ". "in the final i started 4th and briefly got into 3rd on the first lap , i made a slight error on lap 2 which was enough to loose 3rd place and drop back to 4th from then on it was a 12 lap battle for 2nd ,3rd and 4th with me eventually coming 4th" Neil was pleased with this result as it was only his second meeting on the gillard . better is yet to come !!

sunday: "we got off to average start by finishing 7th in the first heat and from there on it went worse . i got fired off in the second heat resulting in a non finish then heat 3 the spark plug broke on lap 2 and the final we couldnt get it out the corners so finished 13th "

This weekend Neil was racing at wombwell and strugled through out the heats due to a lack of pace . for the final the kart was right for the first time Neil went from 9th on the grid to 4th and batling for 3rd within the first 5 laps . then for no reason the kart griped up and bounced all over and because of this Neil droped back to eventually finih 8th

Neil was racing at wombwell this weekend and for the first time in the senior max class and put in some fairly good strong performances considering this was the first time for neil in a kart since december . Neil came 3rd in the final which was a well deserved result

Neil was racing at wombwell in barnsley this weekend for his final junior rotax max race and final race of the season .Neil still had a very distant chance of winning the championship but that was unlikly so Neil focused on trying to take 2nd place in the championship .Neil had a terrible saturday practice he was 3 seconds from the front running pace . little did Neil realise he was running with a bent rear axle . or sunday this was changed and Neil was instantly 3 seconds faster . Neil had a bit of a troubled first heat as he would overtake someone going down the straight but then he wud loose the place on the exit due to an engine problem . for the second heat Neil was even faster and came 8th and a mere 4 tenths from setting the fastest lap . for heat 3 Neil came was chasing down the leader danny harwood after starting second and Neil finished second, The string of decent results put Neil on 4th place to start the final from . during the first few laps Neil was overtaking and by lap 3 Neil was in second place and set his sights on hunting down the race leader danny harwood who was a quater of the straight ahead Neil managed to close the gap down to 4 tenths over the line but unfortunatly ran out of laps . two more laps and Neil would have won the race . This good result managed to secure Neil 3rd place in the championship only 5 points from 2nd . Neil said " im happy with 3rd in the championship all the hard work has payed off and this is good because we was having a lot of bad luck earlyer in the season . and im happy to take 2nd place in the race because it ends my junior rotax career on a high "

this weekend Neil was racing at wombwell in barnsley
Neil had a good satureday practice and ended up being fastest on track along with a gillard driver.
sunday came and Neil had a bad start to his first heat droping to 17th he made his way though the pack to finish 6th ... in Neils second heat he started 17th and finished a creditable 6th considering where he started. for Neils third heat he started 8th had was upto 4th but Neil lost it all when some one spun infront of him and had nowhere to go but onto the grass and lost 17 places Neil did a gd job to finish 9th.
for the final Neil started 6th on the grid but droped to 8th by the end of the race .. Neil and his mechanic had made a gamble on the set up of the kart which didnt work and Neil went slower . neil said after the race " it was unfortunate that this didnt work because if it had i would have been fighting inside the top 3 . ill be back next month"

Neil had a decent satureday practice . sunday came and neil put in strong performances but was unfortunatly wiped out in both which put him on grid 17 for the final Neil made his way through to finish 11th in the heavy rain and spray

Neil had a good saturday practice putting in some respectable times
on sunday Neils first heat did not go quiete as planed but his second and 3rd heat Neil delivered some gd results. this put neil 8th on the grid for the final. Neil had a good race to finish 5th in the race and collected his first cup since back in april at wombwell.
this weekend neil was racing at the kartmasters event at pfi kart club in grantham
Neil was going well in saturday practice and putting in some fast lap times his best time was a 47.51 . sunday morning and Neil was ready to race . Neil had a godd first two heat finishing in respectable places .for Neils third heat all he had to do was get into the top ten to make into the grand final and be starting somewhere in the top twenty.. Neil started 18th and with 5 laps to go Neil had made his way upto elventh and had a train of karts infront of him. with 3 laps to go Neil was driven over wich damaged his karts sidepod and was given the mechanical flag which ment the end of his race. Neil then started a long way back (17th) in the B final Neil tried his best to get to the front but could only manage 12th . Neil was disapointed with what had happened he said " im very disapointed this weekend because i feel i could have had a good result this weekend"

on sunday Neil had a 9th ,13th and a 11th in his heats for the final Neil was starting 10th and had a good race putting in some very fast laps for the conditions and for some of the race he was 3rd fastest but came 12th . Neil said" im pleased with the way today has gone. we could have done a bit better in the final but its still a decent finish "

satureday practice went reasonable with getting set up good.
on sunday the 1st heat was wet and Neil came through from 6th on the grid to finish second with the seconf fastest lap of the race. heat two : Neil was starting near the back again but made good progress and came mid field. in heat three Neil was starting 6th again and held position to finish 6th . for the final Neil was starting on 5th on row 3. Neil made gr8 progress to finish 2nd just 8 tenths shy of the leader.Neil said after the race :
"im realy happy with the result and has hopefully moved me up in the championship ".
this weekend Neil was racing at shennington for round two of the super 1 series
Neil said : "friday practice went good learning the track and by the end of the day we was
9tenths from fastest" . "satureday practice went even better with by half way through we was 1 tenth from the lap record and 5tenth from fastest.
sunday came and there was snow and ice on the floor and racing did not start whilst dinner time. heat 1 "we made a wrong tyre choice and opted for slicks wen certain parts of the track was wet and came near last but by the last lap the track was almost dry enough for slicks and Neil got the second fastest lap. heat 2 Neil was battling just outside of the top ten when Neil got contacted from behind this sent Neil off into the bark chippings and came last. in heat 3 Neil started near last and made 9 places up but on the last lap when Neil was overtaking he was again contacted from behind but this tym it sent him wide and lost all the places he had made up and finished again last. after all the heats Neil was looking forward to the final to prove he had the pace and could get a decent finish. but due to the meeting starting too late the race director decided to not race the finals and declared the grid positions as the results.

this weekend Neil was racing at clay pigeon for the first round of the super 1 series .
most of the satureday Neil and his mechanic was strugling to get the kart to handle in wet conditions. Neil said " for the last session we made some good decisions in set up changes which made the kart so much quicker and we was on the pace for the first time this weekend".
on sunday the kart handled apauling in the 1st heat with Neil strugilng with under steer and over steer .Neil failed to start the second heat.in the 3rd heat Neil was battling for 9th with the british open champion and they incidentaly took each other out and finished at the back. because of the way his heats went Neil started last on the grid. for the B final but made good progress to finish 12th from 24. with the 10th fastest lap. the team manager sent Neil to watch the A final to see if he could pick up things on were he needs to improve to get to the front in the A final and Neil now knows what he needs to improve on for the next super 1 round

on sunday the first heat went ok with Neil starting 7th on the grid he got to 6th and was battling for 5th but could not make a move stick. on the last lap Neil tried going round the outside but this was to end in Neil loosing a place and finished 7th.
in the second heat Neil started from the back and made good progress to finish 9th.
in the 3rd heat Neil was racing for 4th and made a move down the inside and going into the braking zone was side by side with kart 68 (ben lockwood) but both karts got sucked together and both went air born with Neil's kart landing on top of kart 68 and smashing his radiator. kart 68 failed to finish the race due to his radiator both went onto the grass Neils engine cut out and two karts went past and droped Neil to 6th. Neil managed to retake a place to finish 5th but the kart in 4th was too far ahead for Neil to chase down in 3 laps. Neil started 5th for the final in the first corner Neil and another kart got locked togther and Neil droped to 6th. Neil stayed with the pack and retook 5th place and was within striking distance of 4th on the last lap. but Neil thought wisely and decided to stick for 5th place and not risk taking each other out and took the points to give him a good start to the main championship and 5th place in the winter series. Neil narowly missed out on 4th by a couple of points.
This weekend Neil was racing at pfi (tvkc) for the final round of the winter series.
satureday went reasonable setting up the kosmic chasis and geting the engine running correct we just need find some time on the track.
on sunday the first heat Neil was starting mid pack and on the 2nd corner Neil got hit from behind and both went to last and next to last however this did not faze Neil as he chased the pack down and went faster each lap and made several places up and was side by side with another kart going across the line at the flag and was seperated by under 1 tenth. the second heat Neil started mid pack again but on the outside this time.going into the second corner Neil managed to take the inside line but again was hit from behind and went to last. but Neil could make few places up because the race was under yellow flags for 6 laps and was then red flaged and ended whilst under yellows so he made few places up.
because of geting hit from behind in the heats on the second corner and going to last. Neil was put in the B final and started 8th however Neil made great progress to be fighting for 3rd on the last lap but finished 4th with the second fastest lap. which promoted Neil to starting tha A final but from last. Neil again made good progress to finish 18th from last and was less than three tenths from17th.
febuary:
This weekend Neil was racing at clay pigeon for the super 1 shake down.
satureday practice went ok with Neil getting to grips with his New kosmic chasis and learning a new track.
on sunday the first heat went fairly bad with Neil finishin the heat near last.
the 2nd heat went reasonable with Neil keeping with the mid pack runners .
The 3rd heat was similar to the 2nd heat.
because of Neil having bad heat results Neil was placed 3rd from last on the grid. in the final Neil did well managing to get from 24th on the grid to 16th and chasing down 15th but two laps from the end Neil got fired wide from behind and loosing several places to finish 20th. Neil said "when you consider that this is the first time i have been to this track and first weekend on my new chasis we had reasonable pace its just a shame that i got fired wide"

satureday practice went ok with little problems .we jus need to find a few tenths said Neil
on Sunday the first heat went ok until Neil was fired off track and lost some places. the 2nd heat Neil started from the back and at the 2nd corner there was a incedent Neil went to go round but was fired into it and lost a place. but managed to get that place back and more. in the 3rd heat Neil started from mid pack and did ok managing to take a few places. for the final Neil started 8th and by lap 2 had got to 6th .on lap 2 at the end of the straight Neil got fired off into the tyres and put him to last and three quaters of a lap down. Neil pulled the kart back out of the tyres and used the race as a test because he was so far behind pushing everything to the limit and with no trafic ahead he made full use of it .
when Neil came in from that race he said "i really like the kosmic chasis".
the decision has been made that Neil will use the kosmic chasis for this year.
january:
this weekend Neil was racing at pfi kart club.
Neil could not manage to go for the satureday practice so he was not expecting much from the sunday races.
heat 1 : Neil started 26th and by the chicane on the first lap Neil was upto 21st and going round the outside for 21st but the driver Neil was overtaking slid into the side of Neil and they both spun around. Neil went to last but pulled himselft back upto 20th . heat 2 : Neil started second and finished 17th due to the track being dry and Neil still having a wet set up on the kart. Neil was unfortunatly put into the b final because of the way his heats went. on the grid for the B final the marshals would not let Neil out on track . by the time Neil got out onto track he was nearly two laps down. Neil managed to get the fourth fastest lap with tyres that was realy high pressures which was way too high to be quick . so Neil was farily happy that he was the fourth fastest on track with those tyre pressures.

Neil was racin at wombwell kart club .
first heat Neil started 8th and won the heat. with the fastest lap of the race and fastest lap of the weekend in Neils class. heat two Neil started on 2nd. going into the first corner Neil drove round the outside of the pole sitter and into first place Neil led every lap and won the race with the fastest lap again.heat three Neil started on 12th. Neil finished in 5th. this was a good result for Neil as the two wins and a fith gave Neil pole postition for the all importany final. going into the first corner Neil sqeezed the kart at the side wide to make sure that Neil kept his place. Neil led every lap and on the last lap last corner. a marshall came out onto the track and flaged Neil into the pits .and let everyone else past. Neil managed to drah his kart back out and finish 9th. Neil said " i was leadin by a long way and if the marshall had not come out onto the track and flaged me in i would have won. the race and i would have also been leading the championship". Neil also got the fastest lap again in the final.
Neil will be Next racing at pfi kart club on the 20th of january
Neil has now changed his race number from 96 to 17 .

This weekend Neil was racing at wombwell kart club. The weather was wet all weekend .Neil said "The satureday practice went really well and i was really looking forward to the race on sunday" .On sunday for the first heat Neil had a good race and finished 5th. Neil and his mechanic had worked out if they finished 4th in heat two and had another top 6 finish in the 3rd heat Neil would be starting from pole for the final. for the second heat Neil started 17th and had another good race and by the last lap was in 5th and right behind the kart in 4th place . "On the last corner i made a bit of a mad lung from a bit far back for 4th i got up the inside of him but slid wide and made contact with him" this unfortunatly caused Neil to spin and he finished 10th.for the 3rd heat the field was a bit spread out and Neil was enjoying a good battle for 6th with kart number 98 and on the last lap Neil managed to pass him down the inside at the end of the straight and finished 6th. If the move that Neil made in heat two had payed off he would have started on pole but because it didnt Neil was starting from 7th. Neil made a good start to the race and made up two places to finish 5th.

The final championship points have been put up from the Motors tv ultimate karting cup . Neil has finished a respectable 16th in the championship
This weekend Neil was racing at pfi. The satureday practice was a bit of a strugle to get the engine running correct because Neil said the engine was back firing going down the main and second straight and was costing him a lot of time .By the final session Neil and his mechanic along with the help of mak racing managed to get the engine running correct and Neil went imediatly seven tenths faster but he was stuck in trafic all but two laps so Neil was overtaking all but two laps and Neil and his mechanic said that they felt they could have gone plenty faster if the hadnt been in trafic all but two laps. sunday racing .In heat one Neil got fired off track on the second corner and went to 30th (last) but by the end of the session Neil had pulled his way back up to 16th .In heat two Neil got fired off track again but this time at the first corner and went to second from last (29th) . by the end of the race Neil had pulled his way back up to 17th. Because of Neil getting fired off track in both heats Neil got 18th place on the grid which left Neil alot of work to do if he was to even make it into the top ten so Neil's mechanice and mak-racing decided to change the gearing so that Neil could overtake in the infield secition. Neil started 18th and finished 8th and was really happy with the results.

At the weekend Neil was racing the final two rounds of motors tv at hooton park. The friday practice went ok but Neil was struling with the engine coming out of the first corner and Neil and his mechanic eventually found the problem and fixed it . On satureday there was 3 practice sessions before the qualifying and Neil was able to get within one tenth of his best time with old test tyres on. for the timed qualifying Neil along with the rest of the field had new tyres and Neil found a lot more pace with the kart having more grip and finished with the 10th fastest lap .On the race Neil started on second and made a fantastic start and drove round the pole sitter on the outside on the first corner and led everylap of the 18lap race and crossed the line in 1st place three seconds ahead of second place . This was Neil's first ever win .When Neil was interviewd he was very nervous and he miss hear what the said and had to ask them to repeat the question. near the end of the interview they noticed that Neil was nervous and asked him if he was . and Neil told them that he was very nervous and it was his first ever win .On sunday Neil finished qualifying with the 8th fastest lap and 1 tenth from the fastest lap. but unfortunatly Neil could not do as well as he did in the satureday race because on sunday after the first 5 laps Neil's rear left tyre deflated quickly and and very soon it was flat and Neil droped from 5th to 12th by the end of the race
this weekend Neil was supposed to be racing at warden law . but when Neil got there the meeting had been canceled .in compensation all the entrants got free testing for the day and a full refund. so Neil made full use of the day and reset his fastest lap ever round the track and got down to 51.94. and was consistenly close to that time all day.

This weekend Neil was racing at wombwell in barnsley . satureday practice Neil was strugling with the handling of his kart and his engine was also backfiring . half way through the day Neil and his mechanic managed to get the handling of his kart to how it should be but his engine was still backfiring . it tool until the final test session to get the engine running correct .sunday racing. in the first race Neil started 6th and finished 9th . in the 2nd race Neil finished 8th and in the 3rd race neil finished 5th . in the final Neil started 7th and got a bad start because the karts infront also had a bad start and the karts behind drove round the outside of Neil and he droped to 11th but pulled himself back upto 8th and had a good battle with the kart behind over 8th place Neil finished 8th. Neil's next race is at warden law in sunderland next weekend

this weekend Neil was racing down in kent at lydd international raceway for rounds 7 and 8 of motors tv .
on friday Neil was more than 2seconds off the pace .he was strugling with rear end grip on his 2nd chassi which is a 2004 tonykart krypton and was also strugling to get the engine to perform. after the friday practice had finished Neil changed back to his 2007 racer evx for the morning hoping to go at least 1 second per lap faster. on satureday Neil went down to the dummy grid to get ready to go out on track .when Neil went out he was imediatly 1 second per lap quicker .but still needed to find an extra second per lap and as the day went on until the timed qualifing the kart got gradually slower and slower .and when Neil bolted on the new tyres he gained that second he needed and by the end of the session was only 7tenths from taking the fastest lap .in the race Neil got shunted off at the start going into the chicane and had to let the entire feild go past before he could get going again but Neil got going and chased the pack and stayed with and overtook the number 2 kart of ross wylie who is 2nd in the championship.and overtook a few more to finish 14th . on sunday the practice was pretty much same as satureday .with Neil using his old tyres .then in timed qualifing Neil was again only 7 tenths from taking the fastest lap. In the race Neil got off to a flying start and drive round the outside of the pole sitter and lead the race for 6 laps and had built up queit a gap to 2nd place but then Neil's engine started backfiring at the end of the straight when the engine is reving at around 13,300 wich is about right for that sort of engine .but when his engine started backfiring his engine does not perform properly by giving less acceleration and not reving engough down the straight. Neil did loose the gap and lead of the race and finished in 10th which is Neil's best result in a national championship

the satureday practice got off to a decent start with Neil learning the circuit in the first session and .from that session onwards everytime Neil went out on track he went quicker and quicker .On sunday in the first heat Neil started 2nd and made an exellent start driving round the outside of pole sitter john pike .by the 3rd corner neil was still in the lead but made a mistake and run wide and droped back to 3rd where he finished. in heat 2 Neil started 6th and made another good start and came out of the first corner 4th one of the karts behind was slightly quicker than neil and 3 laps before the finish passed neil when he ran wide Neil finished 5th.heat 3 Neil started 6th again and made another good start and emerged 4th from the first corner but half way through the race neil's kart went off and gradually went slower by the end of the race Neil finished 4th.In the final Neil started 3rd which is on the inside line .and made a good start and tried to pass the kart infront for 2nd place but could not manage to get down the inside and exited the 1st corner 3rd and neil finished 3rd but all the karts behind Neil was faster than him because Neil had an engine problem but Neil managed yo hold them off for the whole 15 laps and took a well deserved 3rd place . Today Neil was racing at the warden law in sunderland
Neil was strugling for pace with the kart oversteering and the engine was down on power in the first race Neil finished 6th the 2nd race Neil finished 8th in the 3rd race neil came 8th again .In the prefinal it was spitting a bit just as Neil went out onto the track and Neil was again strugling for pace and was dropping back from the kart infront and then it started to rain a bit harder which made the track very slippy with slick tyres on and Neil caught the karts up infront and he got into a chain of 6 karts but then the track became too slippy with slick tyres on and neil dropped back again to finish 8th. For the final Neil started 8th and this time it was raining properly and everyone had treded tyres on (wet tyres) and neil at the start neil dropped back to 10th but Neil found that he had more grip and neil pushed hard and got back upto 8th and chased down 7th adn 6th but when Neil had caught them he could not pass them as he did not have enough acceleration out of slow corners to pass them .but whilst Neil was chasing 7th and 6 th down he became 4th fastest on the circuit. Neil will be testing at pf internation (pfi) in grantham

The weather was showery most of the day so the first race was wet and Neil finished 5th .The second race the track was damp in parts and Neil and his mechanic decided to gamble by going with the slick tyres instead of wet tryes unfortunatly this the wrong decision as neil droped from 8th to 10th strugling with the conditions of the track especially at the end of the second straight and the kart would understeer of the track and onto the grass but Neil managed to get it back on track both times and keep chasing the karts infront.in the 3rd race the track was wet again and Neil finished 8th .for the final neil started 7th and had a good race long battle with the driver in front three laps from the finish Neil managed to pass him at the end of the main straight.but there was not enough laps of the race left to pass the kart infront for 4th place
but by the time the chequered flag was out neil was only 2tenths behind him . Neil will be racing at warden law in sunderland on the 15th july 2007

today Neil was racing at Warden Law in sunderland
Neil was going well all day and he hadnt been to this circuit in a while and didnt expect to do as well as he did .neil got a string of 4th place's and in the final Neil started 4th and finished 4th he said he was happy with his results he said the only thing that stopped him from getting a cup in 3rd place was the engine back firing down the straight but this was because the engine jetting was a bit weak and could have gone a bit richer but all in all the result was fantastic.

10/6/07 Neil was racing at wombwell this weekend to try get his championship back on track after missing the first and 3rd round.
In the first race Neil started on pole position and led the race until two laps from the end when he made a mistake on the first corner after the start/finish line and ran wide letting two karts through .in the second race neil started from mid pack and made up 1 or two places but didnt make much more up because the drivers infront was defending.in race 3 there was a couple of crashe's at the first corner which slowed neil because he had to slowley go throught the crashe's but in this race Neil set the FASTEST LAP of the race and day which was 33:34 and the closest time was 33:60 .in the final neil started on row 7 in 14th place and was making good progress and got to 10th and chasing 6th,7th,8th,9th down until the race was red falged because soembody had crashed into the tyre wall on the outside of corner . Neil also got the 2nd fastest of the year
3/6/07 This weekend Neil was competing in rounds 5&6 of the motors tv ultimate karting cup at glan y gors. Neil struggled on the satureday for pace with the kart not handling correct and was constantly trying different set ups but most of didnt seem to work in the race Neil was still strugling for pace but managed to finish in 20th place whcih was about what he had expected.On sunday Neil managed to get his kart handling correctly and was was very much on the pace and in timed qualifying neil was only 5 tenths off the fastest lap but because it was so tight he qualified on 19th which was good after a bad day on satureday.in the race Neil did reasonable and finished 21st but Neil was disapointed because he could have done a lot better .The race was cut short due to a red when somebody was thrown out of there kart in an incedent during the race .
